In March 2020, Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Manufacturing Ltd reached out to us urgently. This, of course, was the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and due to the nature of their business, it was imperative that they continued to operate through the pandemic. Siemens was identified as a business essential in the fight against Covid-19.
We assessed our client’s requirements and had a team in place and on-site within 48 hours.
The work involved continuous complete touch point sanitation throughout a number of sites in Sudbury. This was implemented to reduce the risk of cross-contamination and infection and to also put the staff at Siemens at rest, to ensure that they could continue working within a safe environment.
During this uncertain period of time, the way we worked and the world around us was changing. Siemens implemented several set shifts to which staff were tied. This enabled one shift to work, in the event that an outbreak of the virus occurred. This would ensure that the important work that Siemens was carrying out would not stop if an outbreak were to occur. This also meant that our team at Diamond View had to adapt and follow this procedure too.
Throughout our service, we undertook weekly ATP testing to verify our cleaning and understand which critical control points needed additional attention. When required, our team of trained specialists completed total site decontamination cleans which also included fogging.
We have forged a great relationship with Siemens and have helped assist with additional tasks such as deep cleaning floors and carpets, window cleaning, drain maintenance, gutter maintenance and roof condition surveys.
